Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

1. What this covers

This policy explains what cookies and similar storage ManagePrint ("we") uses on manageprint.shop, on the app at app.manageprint.shop, and on the storefronts and payment pages we host for print shops — including ones served on a shop's own domain. It is part of our Privacy Policy.

A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser and reads back on later visits. Local storage and session storage do the same job without being sent to the server. We treat all three the same way here.

2. Your choices

Strictly necessary cookies are always on: the site does not work without them and no law asks us to seek permission for them. Analytics and advertising cookies are your call, and how we ask depends on where you are.

  • European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland: nothing beyond the strictly necessary runs until you choose. "Reject all" and "Accept all" are the same size, side by side, and one click each. If we cannot tell where you are, you get this version.
  • Everywhere else, including the United States: analytics and advertising cookies run when you arrive, with a notice, and you can turn either off in one place. Turning off advertising is your opt-out of "sharing" under California law and the state laws like it.
  • Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends the GPC signal, advertising cookies stay off without you doing anything, wherever you are.

Your answer is kept for six months in the mp_consent cookie, shared between manageprint.shop and app.manageprint.shop so you are asked once. Change it any time: (also in the footer of every page), or in the app under Settings → Account → Cookies and tracking. Withdrawing consent stops the cookies being used and expires the ones we set; it does not undo what was collected while they were on, which you can ask us to delete under the Privacy Policy.

3. Strictly necessary

Required for signing in, paying, and remembering the choices above.

mp_regionManagePrintThe country your request came from, so we know whether to ask before setting anything else. No identity, no history.24 hours
sidebar_state, theme, mp-color-theme, localeManagePrint (cookie and local storage)Remembers whether the sidebar is open, which colour theme you picked, and your language.Up to 7 days for the sidebar; the rest until you clear them

4. Analytics

Runs only with your permission where permission is required, and can be turned off anywhere.

NameSet byWhat it doesLasts
ph_…_posthog (cookie), ph_… (local and session storage)PostHogRecognises the same browser between visits so we can see which pages are used, where people get stuck and what breaks. In the app, may record how a page was used (a session replay) with anything you type masked. If you have an account, your events are tied to it.Up to 1 year

Error reports. When something breaks in your browser we receive an error report, whether or not analytics is on. Without analytics it carries no cookie, no identifier that survives the page, and is not tied to your account; the IP address is not kept. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the service working for this.

5. Advertising

Loaded only on manageprint.shop and on the sign-up, sign-in, onboarding and billing pages of the app — where we are the ones advertising. Never on an invoice, a quote or a storefront, which belong to the print shop and its customers, not to us. Runs only with your permission where permission is required.

NameSet byWhat it doesLasts
_gcl_au, _gcl_aw, _gcl_gsGoogle AdsTells Google when an ad brought someone here who then started a trial or subscribed, so our ads can be measured. Google may also set its own cookies on google.com and doubleclick.net.90 days
_fbp, _fbcMeta (Facebook and Instagram ads)The same for Meta: measures our ads and builds an audience of people who visited, so we can show them ads later.90 days

Google and Meta set some cookies on their own domains that we cannot read or remove. Turning advertising off here stops us loading their code and expires the cookies they set on ours; for theirs, see Google's cookie policy and Meta's cookie policy.

6. Changes

If we add a cookie or change what one is for, we update this page and the date at the top, and where it matters we ask you again.
